As chief organizer and PR director of 5 Borough Ladies Arm Wrestling, I work with a collective of women to raise money for community organizations who perpetuate and support our mission.  Our mission is as follows:

“Working to resist and reject sexism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, classism and racism. ”

Five Borough Ladies Arm Wrestling has been in operation since June 2011, with an all female cast of organizers and members working under the influence and guidance of the national all women arm wrestling organization CLAW USA  originally founded in Charlottesville, VA, in 2008.  The only NYC charter of its kind, 5BLAW raises money for community organizations while walking the line between pro wrestling antics, theatrics, and pure strength competitive sport. Eight women wrestlers, each with their own character theme and wrestling moniker, compete in each competition.  All proceeds raised from bets are given to a chosen local charity that perpetuates and supports our mission.
